I always thought that being a mother meant being hardworking, devoted, caring and full of love. I look around and that's not the case at all. My mother is all of those things, and I am truly blessed. I have never seen so much care and love come out of one person in my life. I can only hope to one day even be half as good of a mother as she is. "I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine - she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights." ~Terri Guillemets My mom has always been my number one fan. I truly believe that in everything I have done I would never have been able to do it without her. I could say I wanted to be a singer, actor, astronaut, football player or even the president of the United States and she would tell me that I could do it. My mom has taught me to strive for whatever it is that I want. My mom has also shown me that with wanting something there is always a price. She has showed me that if I want to succeed in anything, I will have to put my all into it. Another important value she has taught me is that if you are going to start something then you have to finish it. She has always seen something in me that I never saw. My mom gave my confidence that I never would have had without her. She has truly helped me grow in every way possible. I could never understand what I have done to deserve such a good mom. I have a problem, I call her. I need help, I call her. I just want someone to talk to, I call her. My mother is the person I turn to for everything. She is someone I can always count on, no matter what. My mom has showed me how to be a great person. I look to her for my inspiration in everything I do. My mother and my father are the only people in my life that I know will always be there for me no matter what. "An ounce of blood is worth more than a pound of friendship." I live by that quote; so many people have let me down. The two people I know would never let me down are my parents. Everyone tells me I have great confidence and determination. I got those two amazing qualities from my mom. She has shown me to stop at nothing to achieve great things. She has shown me that you can be the smartest person in the world but without confidence and determination, you can't achieve anything. The amount of love, patience and kindness she has shown me is unreal. My mother taught me to always have good morals and values. She has taught me to always have an open heart and an open mind. She has taught me to never settle for anything less than I deserve. I believe that I have got as far as I am today from the morals and values that I have always had. By law all mom's are really required to do is give there children food, water and shelter........ My mom has influenced me in every way possible, all good influences. I know for a fact that I would not be the person I am today without her. Although, I have many great relatives I believe that my mom has influenced me the most. Everyone says "My mom is the best", like its nothing but when I say that I am serious. I know that there is no better mom out there for me then mine. I may not always show it but, I love my mom with all my heart. I am so thankful for everything she has done for me.
