To begin with, a hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. A good example of a hero is Martin Luther King Jr. He is the hero I choose because he is a remarkable person and a role model for everyone. He changed people's lives forever. He stood up for civil rights, he is brave, determined and influential. Firstly, Martin Luther King Jr. was a very brave man who stood up for his and society's rights. He was willing to stand up, and speak about equality, knowing that there are a huge amount of racist people that would and did later on assassinate him. He had the power to lead marches against racism and didn't back down even after getting arrested. "We must build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear", said Martin Luther King. This quote tells us to have courage and be brave so we could defend our rights and get justice. We shouldn't be afraid of others even if others pressurize us. One should always speak up for their rights and not let others control them. Secondly, Martin Luther King Jr. was determined to make sure there would be no racism in America so that people with different cultures, religions, and skin colour can live peacefully among others. He was not going to take "No" for an answer, he fought till someone finally agreed to his statement. He wanted equality for everyone and did everything he could to try to achieve his goal. He organized boycotts and protests, he even died for this cause, which took a lot of determination. Martin Luther King went through many challenges without showing any sign of hesitation. "We must accept finite disappointment but infinite hope", said Martin Luther King Jr. This quote tells us that we can have a certain limits to be disappointed but have endless hope. For example when a child is young and learns how to ride there bike for the first time, they fall get hurt but still they never give up and keep on trying, and are determined that they can do it. Lastly, Martin Luther King Jr. was very influential. He influenced America to do the right thing and stop racism. He influenced many to change the way they act and talk about black people. He influenced people by sharing his dream and giving his opinion to the public. "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do keep on moving forward", said Martin Luther King. This quote tells us that no matter what your limits are, you have to do as much as you can. Focus on what you can do instead of what you can't. If you do this, you can end up achieving things even when it seems impossible. Whenever Martin Luther King did a protest, he always did it in a non-violent way. He gave his opinion to millions of people and helped them choose the right path to humanity. He made sure everyone gets justice over what others did to corrupt America. In conclusion, Martin Luther King Jr. was a very brave, determined and influential man. He made it known that he wanted equality in front of everyone including his enemies, he was determined to reach his goal and died even fulfilling his cause. He influenced many and changed America into what it is today. He showed how important equality is because everyone should respect each other even if one has a different religion or skin color. One should always fight for what is right.
