President Barack Obama's speech on January 28, 2014 had all the citizens of the United States on the edge of their seats and satisfied they're minds with positive news. One of the subjects that he talked about that really popped out at me and caught my attention was the economy. President Obama stated that our economy is on the rise. He later proved his theory by saying America's graduation rate is to its highest level in more than three decades. Some other results that the president stated was having the lowest unemployment rate in over five years, a rebounding housing market, a manufacturing sector that's adding jobs for the first time since the 1990s, and more oil produced at home than we buy from the rest of the world. The first time we were able to do that was nearly twenty years ago. Our deficits have been cut tremendously and are now down to half way and for the first time in over a decade the business leaders around the whole world have proclaimed that China isn't the world's number one place to invest anymore and that America is now the runner ups and is number one to do investments with in the entire world. As of right now the United States is in the best position for the 21[st] century than any other nation on Earth. President Obama thinks that this can be a breakthrough year for America. It's been too long since our economy has been on the rise like this. Now it may not be much but it's definitely headed in the right direction. With things happening that hasn't been happening in decades? That has to be a good sign. President Barack Obama also stated how the first lady helped lower child obesity in over 30years. As president Obama finished up his economic growth speech, he wrapped it up by saying independent economists reform will expand our economy and decrease our deficits by almost $1 trillion in the next two decades. He stated that one the biggest factors in bringing more jobs back for the American's, is our commitment to American energy. Meanwhile president Obama will still sustain production in job growth.
