Thanksgiving is a fantastic holiday to me. It is a time when you are thankful for what you have throughout the year. When the Indians and Pilgrims sat down, they had dinner together. I will be writing about what I will be doing on Thanksgiving, Pilgrims and the Indians, and the food we will be eating on Thanksgiving. The first area I will be writing about is what we do on Thanksgiving Day. In my kindred sometimes my aunties would ask my mother who's turn is it to cook the food at their house. If my grandma would've come, Thanksgiving would look like a family reunion. Then one of my favorite uncles died. So we are over it now but we still miss him. For the first time Pilgrims and Indians settle their differences. Most people thought the Indians were nothing but trouble. In reality they were excellent people. They were talented too, at fishing, growing corn, and hunting. The Pilgrims were good at sailing. Their boat was called the Mayflower. The Indians mainly ride horses. The food is the basic thing in Thanksgiving. First is the turkey. I mean you got to have a turkey! Second is the corn, sweet, yellow corn. Third is the cornbread, you know the bread is good. Fourth are the black eye peas that will give you a black eye. Last but not least is the stuffing that's the key to your dinner. In conclusion, Thanksgiving is a fantastic holiday to me. It's a time when you are thankful for what you have throughout the year. It's a time when the Indians and Pilgrims sat down and they ate dinner together.
